However, the study was extended because of the interest in the diet, health and anthropometry of this population. We gathered information from 1204 university students of health sciences at the San Juan Campus of Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University between 2006 and 2012. In 2011, we planned to contact the participants of the study and to perform a follow-up every 3 years.<\/p>\n<p>The general objective of this study is to establish the nutritional and health status of the university population and to explore which factors influence the development of lifestyle-related diseases.<\/p>\n<p>We collected information about the following variables:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dietary Survey Module:<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><a style=\"color: #333333;text-decoration: underline\" href=\"http:\/\/epinut.umh.es\/cfa-84-obesigen\/\"><b>Food Frequency Questionnaire of 84 items.<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>24 hours Records. (Only for participants in the validation study)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"><a style=\"color: #333333;text-decoration: underline\" href=\"http:\/\/epinut.umh.es\/en\/mini-cfa-25\/\"><b>Food Frequency Mini-Questionnaire of 25 items<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Blood samples to determine antioxidants and other nutrients (Only for participants in the validation study)<\/li>\n<li>Health and Lifestyles Module:\n<ul>\n<li>Self-report health status and personal pathological background (chronic diseases).<\/li>\n<li>Physical activity<\/li>\n<li>Consumption of tobacco and alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Use of nutritional labelling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Socio-demographic Module<\/li>\n<li>Self-reported Anthropometry Module :\n<ul>\n<li>Weight<\/li>\n<li>Height<\/li>\n<li>Arterial systolic pressure<\/li>\n<li>Arterial diastolic pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Measured Anthropometry Module :\n<ul>\n<li>Weight<\/li>\n<li>Height<\/li>\n<li>Arterial systolic and diastolic pressure<\/li>\n<li>Abdomen\/hip circumference<\/li>\n<li>Body fat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main research team:<\/strong><br \/>\nJes\u00fas Vioque; Manoli Garcia de la Hera; Eva M.
